Red Rocks and Matching Tattoos

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good Thanksgiving. Mine was pretty small this year. Some of my family recently moved to Florida. We spent the holiday with a family that lived closer. I wanted to do another weekend recap. I loved making the other weekend recap a few posts ago. I also love reading other people’s recaps, so might as well make posts related to topics I love.

This past weekend I got to see one of my best friends that I have not seen in months. I went to visit her in Littleton. We got lunch, matching tattoos, and went to Red Rocks to walk around. Since I knew she would want to take pictures at Red Rocks, I put together a super cute outfit. Something funny about being best friends with someone is you start to dress the same. We ended up wearing very similar outfits, without planning on doing so (lol).

The weather was gorgeous. I went with a skirt, sweater and Doc Marten look. This skirt has got to be my favorite skirt of 2021. I have worn this in so many different ways. It is from Princess Polly. My sweater is from Target. I ended up tucking my top into a tank top I had on underneath. I did not love the way it looked with the skirt not tucked in. If you guys have not learned about this hack yet give it a shot, it truly is a lifesaver. I added some socks to the look as well. I tried everything on without the socks, but it looked like something was missing, so I decided to add some socks and push them down to add a scrunched look.

My best friend had a very similar look to the one I put together. She also went with a sweater and skirt look. Our patterns/ colors of the skirts are very similar, she went with a white cropped sweater instead. For the shoes she went with these adorable white chunky boots, giving off a similar look as the Doc Martens. Her top and Skirt are both from Shein.
