How I style Leather Jackets

Leather jackets are a timeless piece that will never go out of fashion in my opinion. Each year I feel like leather jackets are always in fashion, but the way they are styled is slightly different.

This fall, I am already noticing that people are going for longer leather jackets and pairing them with athleisure looks, or trying to make it look business casual. Personally, I am not a huge fan of the long leather jacket look, nor do I own a long leather jacket. Please enjoy my take on how I would style leather jackets.

Look One

For the first look I decided to go for a more "girly" feel. The belt is not super noticeable in the photo, but it is a snake printed belt. I decided to go with red boots to compliment the hints of red and orange in the belt, and to make the cream color of the jacket pop, along with my hat. Another option for this outfit would to pair with tall boots, black or brown, sadly I do not own a pair. Definitely a fall staple I need.

Shoes: Thrifted

Hat: Screamin Peach (boutqiue only in person)

Belt: Target

Look Two

The second look I went for more of a sporty look. This look would have looked better if the leather jacket was oversized, but I think it still looks very nice and comfortable. An all black look would also be very fitting, but I wanted to add a touch of color, so I went with a periwinkle top. Personally I think chunky white sneakers make an athleisure outfit look 10x better.

Jacket: Same Zara Jacket

Leggings: Lululemon

Look Three

The third look, I wanted to go for more of a grudge vibe. I love pairing a lighter black washed jean with either a black top, or in this case a black leather jacket. I wanted to keep this look neutral, so I decided to go with a light grey top and my doc Martins. This outfit combo is timeless and perfect for a casual night out.

Jacket: Express (linked similar)

Jeans: Zara (I cut the bottoms on mine)

Top: Screamin Peach Boutique

Look Four

For the last look I wanted to go girly, but also casual. As you guys would know by now I absolutely love animal prints. I tend to wear prints as either shoes or belts, but I occasionally like to wear them as tops. This outfit is perfect for so many different scenarios. To make this outfit more "dressy", switch out the sneakers for booties or heals.

Jacket: Same express jacket

Body suit: Princess polly

Jeans: The loft (similar)

Shoes: Same princess polly sneakers
