Do not get me wrong, I love dressing cute and fashionable 80 percent of the time. The other 20 percent, you will catch me in some type of comfy, cozy outfit. All of the people that you guys look up to for fashion inspiration, do not always look like that all of the time... trust me.
Since I am also a college student, I will dress lazy most of the time to class, or if I am running errands, or having a chill day at home. You will never catch me wearing jeans when I am trying to be comfortable.
Since covid started, I feel like a lot of people have naturally accumulated a lot more lounge clothing. I have as well, so I have a bit more clothing items to "play" with when it comes to putting comfy outfits together.
It is possible to still look cute and put together while wearing lounge clothing. I do not know about you guys, but I am way more productive when I am wearing a cute outfit in. Remember that saying, "Look good, feel good, do good", yeah that is something I definitely live by.
Outfit one
Since this is fall inspired, I obviously had to add my favorite flannel. I remeber when I was in highschool, I told myself that I would never wear sweatpants in public or to class. Well I am now a junior in college and I can say that is majority what I wear when I want to be cute and comfortable.
When I was younger I was looking at the wrong kind of sweatpants. If you are trying to be cute, chic, and comfy, joggers are the way to go my friend. There are so many different styles and colors of joggers at every price point.
It is a stable item that will be easy to find. Obviously I had to finish this look off with a pair of white sneakers. If you do not own some type of white sneaker by now... what are you doing?!
Outfit Two
This second outfit goes out to all my boho lovers. I am aware that this look is not for everyone, but that is not the point of my blog. My point is to create inspiration with fashion, and this is an outfit that creates lots of inspiration for me. The main show of this outfit is obviously the pants. When I bought these pants, I knew I would have a blast styling them in different ways. The first way I thought of was a cozy look. Adding a cardigan is a great way to give off the cozy, comfy vibe. I decided to pair this look with berkenstocks, since after-all, this is a boho look.
Outfit Three
If I did not add an outfit with a jean jacket to this blog post, I would not have been realistic. One of my favortite ways to "dress up" a comfy outfit is by adding a jean jacket. I personally prefer an oversized jean jacket, it gives off a more relaxed look. I love pairing a jean jacket with leggings, sneakers, and a graphic tee. I decided to layer with a flannel underneath, which makes this outfit look so cozy and layed back.
